To All Members of our Diocesan Community:

Please rest assured that despite our office building being closed to the public, our Pro-Life Apostolate office is most certainly not closed. While out of precautions it is difficult to access any of the sacraments, this has also created more time than ever for prayer – and it is through this that we are all united with one another and Christ during this time.

One way we can unite in prayer is through the act of a spiritual adoption, in which Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen recommended we pray every day for a year to save a baby whose life is endangered by abortion. The prayer is simply as follows:

“Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted, who is in danger of abortion.”

We ask that you continue to keep in prayer all the youth, mothers experiencing a crisis pregnancy, and families as we pray for a quick end to this pandemic. If you or anyone you know is in need of any assistance during this time, please do not hesitate to contact our office via email at idelucca@dioc-fr.org or dmarshall@dioc-fr.org. You can also access further resources on ways to be pro-life during this time at our office website – prolifefallriver.org

May God bless all of you and your families, keep you safe from sickness and harm, and bring about a renewed faith in all of us.
