2015 Teen Leadership Institute Set for June 27-July 2; Register Now! Author: Diocese of Fall River In the News 12 May 2015 Share The Christian Leadership Institute or CLI -now in its 27th year- is a six-day leadership training experience for high school age youth. To take place this year from June 27 through July 2 at Cathedral Camp in East Freetown, the rewarding week includes learning, prayer, affirmation, recreation and relaxation. CLI seeks to foster the leadership potential of our young Church by heightening each person’s gifts and talents for various ministerial roles and responsibilities in their parishes, schools and wider communities. It is not a retreat experience. Daily sessions focus on the art of leadership, communication skills, group dynamics, aspects of Catholic Christian discipleship and how it is embodied through prayer and liturgy, and the importance of service. The busy schedule also includes liturgies, social activities and time to enjoy the grounds of Cathedral Camp. If you are a teenager who is mature, able to work with peers and adults, have a sense of faith and an interest in being a leader, CLI wants to help you reach your potential. CLI is a program of the Faith Formation Office of the Fall River Diocese. Click here for additional information and a CLI application. Registration is $230 if application is received before June 17; after that the cost is $250. Space is limited to 50 participants.
